December 6 marks the 35th anniversary of the tragic day in 1989 when 14 promising young women were killed at the École Polytechnique de Montréal solely because they were women. Come to remember them and to support equal rights for all at this year's December 6 Vigil on Canada's National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women.
Join us for short speeches, music and light refreshments on December 6 at 5:30 p.m. at St. Columba Anglican Church, 250 Lincoln Road in Waterloo. By Grand River Transit, take Bus 29 to the Lincoln/Mayfield Stop.
All are welcome to attend.
